Water Park Fun

Today Mallory and I had a great time at Neptune Park Fun Zone. The park is new--it was built last year. It has a large playground in the middle of a shallow pool. The playground has 3 water slides, various climbing pieces, and a tunnel. Shooting water devices were all over the place so everyone got wet no matter their location.
In another section of the park, there was a large pool. It was walk-in entry and it was divided into 3 sections: 1-3 feet deep, 3-4 feet deep, and 5-7 feet deep. All sections were divided by a rope.
There was also a large playground at the entrance of the park (no water) and a mini golf range.

We stayed at the park for nearly 4 hours. Admission was only $7 per person and I considered this a fair price.

It was very family friendly. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked, their were 7 lifeguards on duty, and we were able to bring in drinks and snacks. They even had someone walking around selling items from a nearby concession stand that included food from Chic-fil-a. There were also plenty of chairs so we didn't have to haul ours in! The park is on Beachview Dr. so we had an awesome view of the beach.

After the water park, Mallory and I headed into town. We visited Old Navy and Target (these chains are not in Waycross). We each bought a little something. We treated ourselves to blizzards from DQ and we got an icee from Target as well as some popcorn.

It was Mallory and me today because Daniel, unlike what was originally planned, got up and played golf this morning. He actually thought that we should have waited on him before leaving. AS IF..........
