Technically, we celebrated yesterday. Daniel grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and steak and I cooked french fries. Daniel is an excellent grillsman and this meal is one of my favorite "at home" meals.
We also spent a couple of hours in the pool.
This picture was taken after Mallory went swimming with Daniel. I was running on my treadmill. She said she was tired. I told her to go in her room to watch a movie. Instead, she brought her favorite pillow and blanket to the workout room. I was stunned that she fell asleep. I sound like a baby elephant while running! It must have lulled her into a deep sleep because she slept for nearly 2 hours!
Grandma, I hope you recognize Mallory's comfort items. After all, you made both! FYI: the pillow stays on HER bed and the quilt is always nearby.
It makes me very happy to see Mallory snuggled with something I made. Hope she knows her Grandma Y loves her.
