Christmas morning started around 6:30 am. However, Mallory got up and checked her stocking and the tree before we went to bed.....around 10:30 pm.
It was a great morning. Mom stayed with us the night before so she was here to celebrate with us. As you can see, we had a great Christmas. There were many Christmas surprises. Specifically, my gifts. They were shocking. I was expecting a gift card for a car detail and a pair of $30 John Wind earrings!!!!
After opening gifts, mom and I made hash brown casserole (Mallory's favorite) a sausage casserole (Daniel's request) and my favorite, pigs in a blanket. We were planning to cook a turkey dinner but discovered our turkey was still frozen. And yes, I took it out of the freezer on Monday.
