On August 28th, 2015, Molly Kate turned 7 months old.  Wow!  It has been a LONG 7 months.  I really thought my body would be back in shape by now.  I'm about 14-13 lbs away from my goal weight (which is giving myself 5 lbs).  I've given up on wearing my jeans but I desperately want to wear my shirts.

What is new with Molly Kate:
1.  rolls over to her stomach and rolls over to her back
2.  many different sounds:  /d/, /p/ and she loudly babbles, "Dadadada"  Plus vowel sounds
3.  can transfer from sitting to her tummy; can nearly rise to sitting from her tummy
4.  LOVES banana puffs and cheerios
5.  eats a lot of baby food and any table food she can get get her grubby paws on
6.  moves around in her walker (backwards and forwards)
7.  she has mastered sitting up
8.  she has started banging everything

Molly Kate's dislikes:
1.  diaper changes
2.  clothing changes
3.  getting out of the bathtub
4.  anyone sitting at the table and she isn't.....especially if that person is eating

In the picture:  our physical therapist often tells families to let their kids move around on pillows to help with pre-crawling skills.  Well, I have tried this and Molly Kate HATES it.  So............while she is sitting, I place the boppy (pink donut shaped pillow) around her.  I place her favorite toys behind her.  Yeah, I know......I'm sure I will win "Mother of the Year."
