Honor's Day at Wacona

Today Wacona Elementary celebrated hard work, academic achievement, good behavior, and work ethic.  I am proud to tell you that Mallory received her class's award for "Excellent Citzenship."  I was expecting her to get the "most improved student" so when they called her name for this award, I was totally shocked and unprepared.  Luckily, they gave all parents an opportunity to take photos after each child was called to the stage.

As you can tell, everyone dressed up in cowgirl and cowboy outfits.  Everyone wore white shirts and blue jean bottoms.  They also wore bandanas, hats, and boots--if possible.

  1. Yea for Mallory! As a teacher, I can tell you that citizenship is VERY important! You would not believe how many kids are not good citizens.
