July 29th as Daniel's birthday. We celebrated at the beach with his dad and step but we also celebrated at home.
Mallory and I made a "Grannie cake." A Grannie cake is comprised of thin yellow cake layers topped with my Grannie Thigpen's chocolate icing recipe.
Before anyone asks, I baked and frosted the cake and Mallory added the birthday decorations!
I would NEVER question your cake decorating skills! :)
